Remembrance Day 2018

To commemorate Remembrance Day 2018, we have had "Albert" come to the shop for our window display, a shillouette of a soilder to remember those who have fallen, he has become a bit of a talking point in our shop here in Wadhurst, East Sussex as local ladies have knitted poppies for him, and a night he is lit up, there are also crosses on the football field to remember those who gave so much and who came from Wadhurst. locally as well Tunbridge Wells has done a super display on their War Memorial and other surrounding villages, such as Ticehurst, Goudhurst, Lamberhurst to name a few are also making amazing displays a fitting tribute to everyone who served.  We are very proud to have "Bertie" (as he has become affectionally known as) here with us this week, least we forget.
